During our daily hospital rounds we were invited to sit in on one of the medical school courses being taught in the hospital that day. Dr. Sakara accepted us warmly, and we got the pleasure to sit in on her course in genetic predisposition to allergies. Dr. Sakara offered to present the lecture to the class in English, so that everybody could understand. The course experience was very educational and showed promise in the opportunity for USF students to learn a lot from the faculty at SWU. After class, we stuck around and interviewed Dr. Sakara. Later on that evening, we decided to go to the back of the university again. A few students wanted to go and offered to give us a ride but we had acquired bikes by this time and wanted to explore some, so we decided to ride our bikes there. The ride was about fifteen minutes, and I felt very safe. The campus had many security guards monitoring who was coming in and out of all the university entrances and exits.
